Jesus “Jesse” Joe Smith, Jr., 51, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 in a local hospital. He was born on July 29, 1965 in Los Angeles, California to Jesus Joe and Pauline (Christian) Smith. He was a former line operator at Kenco Plastics. Jesse loved the outdoors, especially fishing and collecting marbles and gold. He worked with his hands making gold and beaded jewelry.
A family held memorial service will be 12:00PM, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Cedar Lake in Hodgen, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Judy of Spiro, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lisa Williams and her husband Billy of Spiro, OK and Jennifer Cantrell and her wife Torie of Hackett, AR; one son, Scotty Warren and his husband Chaunna of Poteau, OK; three sisters, Theresa Petty of Monroe, OK, Coni Thompson of Howe, OK and Stacy Hammerle of Fort Smith, AR; one grandson, Harley Williams; his closest nephew, Chris Carter of Howe, OK and several other nieces and nephews.
Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
