Obituary for Annie Kathryn Cooper (Reeves)

Annie Kathryn  Cooper (Reeves)
Kathryn Cooper, 92, of Mulberry, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in her home. She was a retired cashier for Piggly Wiggly, a homemaker, a member of Vine Prairie Baptist Church and was a volunteer for Crawford County/Summit Hospital in Van Buren, where she was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in 2007. She was born June 27, 1924 in Moorhead, Mississippi to the late William Walter and Estel (Montague) Reeves. She was also preced in death by her husband, George Newell Cooper and a son, George Newell Cooper, Jr.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Friday, January 13, 2017 at Vine Prairie Baptist Church with interment in New Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include one daughter, Fay Sawyer and husband Stanley of Coal Hill, AR; three sons, Jack Hardy Cooper of Mulberry, AR, Dan Odus Cooper and wife Margaret of Holcomb, MS and Glenn Reeves Cooper of Greenwood, MS and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Ron Smith, Dalton Smith, Zack Smith, Mark Cooper, Allen Cooper and Shane Cooper.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harrell Vaughn, Charles Wiley, Don Moore, Maurice Inge, Bob Cole, Chuck Thomas, Kendall Moore, Robbie Bruce, Holt Langley, and Ivan Dillard.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital, P.O. Drawer 2222, Little Rock, AR 72203-9984.
