Louie John Hobbs, 92 of Mountainburg passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 in a local nursing home. He was a retired truck driver for Ryder Truck Lines. He was a member of Wood Memorial Christian Church in Van Buren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (Coble) Hobbs, his parents, John and Emma (Wieburg) Hobbs; his twin sister, Louise and seven other siblings.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Conley Cemetery in Mountainburg under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by three daughters, Donna Reed and husband, Dale of Mountainburg, Shelia Smith and husband, Don of Greenwood, Gina Robertson and husband, John of Coweta, Oklahoma; one son, Gary Hobbs and wife, Dixie of Van Buren; fourteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Bob Wilroth, J.L. Smith, Nick Reed, Kevin Farr, Greg Farr and Bruce Bull.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Peters, Doyle Osburn, Leroy Casalman, Pete Simco, Dale Reed, Don Smith and John Robertson.
