Christopher James Johnson, 34, of Roland, OK passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born on January 29, 1982 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Patsy Ruiz and Bobby Johnson. He was a wonderful husband and loving father. He was employed by Baldor Electric. He was a hard working man and when he set a goal for himself he always achieved them. He recently was promoted to supervisor at Baldor Electric. His passions were music, snakes and his family.
Funeral services are at 11:00AM, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Roland City Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife Christina, one son, Logan Johnson and one daughter, Mackenzie Johnson all of the home; his mother and step father, Patsy and Reyes Ruiz of Roland, OK; his father, Bobby Johnson of Roland, OK; three brothers, David Rowland and Jesse Ruiz of Roland, OK and Bubba Johnson of Vian, OK; a sister, Tiffany Ruiz of Farmington, AR and his mother and father in law, Barbara and Richard Mott.
Pallbearers are Richard Mott, Fredrick and Matt Ward, Matt King, Jesse Ruiz, and Shawn Buffington.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
