Obituary for Jimmy Dale Duncan Sr.

Jimmy Dale Duncan, 67 of Fort Smith passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a retired security guard for the City of Fort Smith and attended the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Betty (Nicely) Duncan; two brothers, Hubert and Curtis Duncan and one sister Jeanette Bozman.

Funeral service will be 10AM Monday, November 14, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gentry Cemetery in Sebastian County under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by three daughters Cathy Cano and her husband Raul of Fort Smith, Misty Martinez of Fort Smith and Thelma Duncan of Siloam Springs; four sons Johnny Duncan of Van Buren, Daniel Duncan and his wife Sandy of Fort Smith, Billy Duncan of Fort Smith and Jimmy Duncan, Jr. and his wife Samantha of Gurdon, AR; two brothers Jerry Don Duncan and Estan Duncan, Jr. both of Van Buren; two sisters Marilyn Atkins and Jewel Dean Duncan both of Fort Smith; thirty-six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 1-3 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Duncan, Billy Duncan, Joshua Duncan, Victor Cano, Johnny Duncan, John Wesley, Tommy Burks, Jimmy Duncan, Jr., and Johnie Duncan.
