Edith Mae Owen, 85 of Cedarville passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was a rocket assembler for TRW in California for thirty years. She was a current resident in Alma for the past few years. She was born in Warren, Rhode Island where she was raised eating lots of fresh seafood. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph & Edna (Pattie) Lavoce, and husband Lewis Owen.

Funeral services will be 2PM, Friday, October 28, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with cremation to following the service. Arrangements and cremation were made under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by six children Edith Baker of Redding, CA, Joseph King, Jr., of Fort Smith, Madonna Murphy of Cedarville, Toni Roberts of Washington, Tommy Rubidoux of Glendora, CA, and Donald L. Owen of CA. one sister JoAnn Gray of Memphis, TN; one brother Paul A. Scott of Riverside CA; seventeen grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ron Murphy, Jr., Ken Murphy, Jesse Murphy, Joseph King, III, and Donald King.
