Wesley Bert Harp, 58 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 in a local hospital. He worked in the construction field, a cook at Western Sizzlin Restaurant and also a United States Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents Lewis Harp and Florea June (Bidwell) Allen and one half sister Karen Harp.

Funeral services will be 10 AM, Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial following with military honors at Whitefield Cemetery in Haskell County, Oklahoma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Nancy Harp of the home; three daughters Christy Harp of Van Buren, Jessica Harp of Fort Smith and Melissa Shepard of Mulberry; two sons Justin and Jerimiah Harp of Van Buren; three sisters Kelly Terry of Great Bend, KS, Valerie Branton of Abilene, TX and Lisa Ewing of KS; eight grandchildren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Justin Harp, Chris Carter, Joey Shepard, Jerry Moore, Kevin Richardson , Jessica Harp, and Melissa Shepard.
