Mary K  Weinsinger (Lloyd)
Mary K. Weinsinger, 70 of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 in a Little Rock Hospital. She was a retired registered nurse from Crawford Memorial Hospital in Van Buren. She attended St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy (Miller) Lloyd.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, John Weinsinger of the home; three daughters, Elizabeth Tucker and husband, Todd of Van Buren and their children, Lydia and Cecilia, Abigail Edmonds and husband, Gabriel of Fayetteville and step daughter, Madeleine, Emily McCall and husband, Joseph of Lynn, Massachusetts and their daughter, Scarlett; one sister, Loretta Lloyd of Albany, New York; one brother, James Lloyd of Middletown, New York.

She graduated from Valley Central High School in Montgomery, New York in 1964 and Vassar Brothers College School of Nursing in 1966. Throughout the years she volunteered her time to many organizations; most recently the Ladies Auxiliary at Sparks Van Buren where she served as secretary and chair member on the scholarship committee since 2008. She gave to a number of charities some of which included St. Jude’s, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society and Heifer International among several others. She was a loving mother to her children and a “second” mother to many other people and animals. She was a devoted wife, sister, daughter and friend. She enjoyed reading, gardening and all forms of crafting. She was loved by all who knew her and will live in our hearts forever.

Memorial mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.
