Mary Mae Brown Chittum, 88 of Van Buren passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2016 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and believed in God her lord and savior Jesus Christ. She was a prayer warrior and a loving contributor to St. Judes Children’s Hospital in Memphis, TN. She was preceded in death by her daughter Dottie Jinks and was the last member of her immediate family.

She is survived by one daughter Deborah Baker and her husband Bobby of Norman, OK; three sons Robert Brown and his wife Constance of Van Buren, James Brown of Sprio, OK and Larry Brown and his wife Phyllis of Cameron, OK; sixteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren; four great- great-grandchildren; and her two special friends Glenda and Kelly.

Graveside services will be 1PM, Monday October 3, 2016 at Mt. View Cemetery in Hackett under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.
