Johnny Lee Townsend, 63, of Cedarville, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a motor grader operator for the Crawford County Road Department, retiring in July after working for the department 31 years.He was of the Pentecostal Faith. He was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Rosalie (Garner) Townsend; a brother Rickie Lynn Townsend; a grandson, Cooper Daniel Townsend; and a grandmother Cillar Garner.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Hall Cemetery at Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are his wife Patsy of the home; two sons Johnny Lee Townsend, Jr and wife Amanda of Fort Smith, and Timmothy Robert Townsend and wife Diana of Cedarville; two brothers Charles Townsend and wife Sharon of Booneville and Thomas William Townsend and wife Karen of Magazine; one grandchild Selena Crabtree; and one great- grandchild Abby (Shelby) Crabtree.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Coombes, Chris Marion, Rick Coombes, Alphonso Trent III, David Burkhart, Henry Crabtree and Chris Keith.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, September 12, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
