Jonnita  "Schoen"  Terbieten

Jonnita Terbieten, 77, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday September 2, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born April 26, 1939 in Subiaco, AR to John H. and Lois (Sharpe) Schoen She was a retired farmer, rancher, homemaker and gardener. Jonnita was a member of the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church and preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Terbieten, Sr.
Rosary will be 7:00 P.M. Tuesday September 6, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith. Funeral Mass will be 10:30 A.M. Wednesday September 7, 2016 at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling with burial of cremains in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Barling.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy Clopton and her husband Grady of Witcherville, AR; one son, Ben Terbieten and his fiancée Christy Baker both of Fort Smith, AR; one sister, Mary Rybak and her husband Jim of Kimball, SD; one brother, Bobby Schoen and his wife Paula of Central City, AR; three grandchildren, Robert Terbieten, Amanda Moore and her husband Andrew and Dustin Clopton and his wife Savannah; six great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law Kay Terbieten of Baton Rouge, LA; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church 1301 Frank Street Barling, AR 72923.
