Marilyn Louise Jones, 76 of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in a local hospital. She was retired from Riverside Furniture in Fort Smith and also City National Bank. She was a longtime member of Van Buren First Assembly of God Church and a graduate of the Class of 1958 of Van Buren High School. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaiah and Heba Leona (Johnson) Jones and her step mother Florine Jones.

Funeral services will be 10AM, Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Liberty Cemetery in Greenwood , Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by her sister Elaine Nye of Van Buren; her brother Larry Jones and his wife Carolyn of Van Buren; nieces Christi Swafford and her husband Daniel and Kelly Nye all of Van Buren; nephews Brian Nye and his wife Jana and Aaron Jones and his wife Debbie all of Van Buren; several great nieces and nephews.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street , Van Buren, Arkansas.
