Levona Silvis, 91, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2016 in Fort Smith, AR. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She was born November 16, 1924 in Mountainburg, Arkansas. Levona was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Silvis; 3 grandchildren, Tracy Easter, Glen Silvis and Dixie Lynn Mendoza; 2 sisters, Dessie Jackson and Essie Mae Cecil and 3 brothers, Herman, Lawson and Harold Fields.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment at the Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Shelia Putnam of Mulberry, AR and Penny Mendoza of Bixby, OK; 3 sons, Ronald "Boe" Dickson of Alma, Gene Silvis of Tulsa, OK and Gerald Silvis of Coweta, OK; 2 sisters, Cristie Peters of Fort Smith and Sue Sills of Mountainburg; 11 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren and 2 great-great -grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dave Dickson, Victor M. Mendoza, Tony Sill, Terry Sill, Shon Little and Darren Fields.

The family will visit with friends and relatives from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2016 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy 64 East, Alma, Arkansas.
