Ruby M. Wadsworth, 91, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was born on September 14, 1924 in Lavaca, Arkansas to Edgar E. and Lula M (Wise) Thomas. While growing up she attended Lavaca First Baptist Church and was involved in child evangelism. She was a homemaker and attended Howard Hill Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Wadsworth.
Funeral services are 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Howard Hill Assembly of God Church with burial to follow in Oak Valley Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her daughters, Lynn Delp of Greenwood, Arkansas and Sue Hill of Fort Smith, Arkansas; 8 Grandchildren, Doug Rutledge, Shelly McCray, Ashley Moellers, Courtney Phelan, Lindsey McDaniel, Dude Delp, Rachel Fort Wendel and Edie Hagler (adopted daughter of Ann Eaker) and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Tuesday, August 23rd at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Doug Rutledge, Jay Billingsley, Travis Moellers, Darin Phelan, Cotton Delp , Henry Comer, Carlos McDaniel and Ed Graham.
