Larry Ray Abner, 68, of Van Buren passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in a local hospital. He was retired from FedEx in Fort Smith; was a courier for Quest Diagnostics in Fort Smith and a lifelong resident of Crawford County. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Gladys (Kenner) Abner; one brother, Jimmy Abner.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Abner of Van Buren; one son, Shawn Abner of Van Buren; one sister, Nancy Abner of Muldrow, Oklahoma; one brother, Tim Abner and wife, Kris of Rudy; one grandson, Tyler Abner and wife, Lacey of Springdale.
