Glen Hoyt Thompson, Sr. 62 of Van Buren passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 in his home. He was retired from Rheem Manufacturing Company in Fort Smith. He was a bad mammajamma! He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Elaine Mixon.

Arrangement & Cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren no formal service will be held at this time.

He is survived by one daughter, Shanna Thompson of Elkins, Arkansas; two sons, Michael Beck of Queensland, Australia, Glen Thompson, Jr. and wife, Brittany of Roseburg, Oregon; three grandchildren, Kieran Thompson, Madison Idell, Ransom Emmot and other grandchildren; two special lifelong friends whom were with him daily to the end, Cheryl Jones and B.J. Goodson both of Van Buren.
