Benny William Pixley, Jr. 50, of Van Buren passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016 in a local hospital. He was the Pastor of Keener Freewill Baptist Church in Parks, Arkansas and a real estate appraiser .He was also a lifelong resident of Crawford County. He attended Arkansas Tech University in Russellville, and was a graduate of the 1983 Class of Van Buren High School. He was the grandson of Rupert and Gladys Pixley and Blanche and Kermit Horn.

Funeral services will be 10 AM, Monday, May 2, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Traci of the home; one daughter Sara Pixley of the home; one son Kenneth Humphrey of the home; his parents Benny & Judith Pixley of Van Buren; one sister Nancy Pixley-Stufflebeam of Van Buren; two brothers Kevin and David Pixley both of Van Buren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, May 1, 2016 from 2-4 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Todd VanderWeile, Matt Jarvis, Brett Keller, Phillip Wiley, Russell Ray, Randal Ray, Rod Ray and Larry Stem.
