Cheralyn “Cheryl” Elizabeth Parnell, 58, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was born on April 18, 1958 in Ramsgate, England to Lee Russell and Doreen E. (Hardstaff) Hasting. She was a certified nursing assistant at Fianna Hills Nursing Home, a volunteer for the Sebastian County Humane Society and of the Christian Faith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doreen Hasting.
A family held memorial service will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 6, 2016 at Victory Temple, 3912 Brooken Hill Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas, with Reverend Gary Brown officiating.
She is survived by her son, Elton Wells of Austin, TX, her father, Russ Hasting and his wife Jodi of Claremore, OK; four sisters, Vanda Teach and her husband Don of Payson, AZ, Cindy Cagle of Fort Smith, AR, Kim DeSautell and her husband Darrel of Chandler, AZ and Tiffany Hamilton and her husband Jack of Big Cabin, OK; three brothers, Bob Hill and his wife Jane of Weston Super Mare, England, Rick Hasting of Big Cabin, OK and Steve Hasting and his wife Sandra of Rheine, Germany; and one grandson, Tyler Wells of Austin, Texas.

Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, AR.
