Obituary for Charles Fredrick Clark Jr.

Charles Fredrick  Clark Jr.
Charles Fredrick Clark, Jr., 89, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday April 26, 2016 in a local nursing home. He was a retired press operator for Baldor Electric, a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren, AR and a U. S. Navy Veteran Seaman serving in World War II. He loved his dogs, gardening, fishing and the Arkansas summers. He was born June 9, 1926 in Los Angeles, CA to the late Charles F. and Louise (Meyers) Clark, Sr. He was also preceded in death by his wife Jewel Cole Clark; one sister, Dorothy Storey and one brother, Lawrence Clark.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Alma City Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.
Survivors include one daughter, Dianna Gilson of Alma, AR; four sons, Roni Mann of Alma, Steve Clark of Charleston, Mike Clark of Rogers and Tom Clark of Alma; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Friday evening, April 29, 2016 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Pallbearers will be Terry Rea, James Brewer, Steve, Mike and Tom Clark, Steven Sellers, Jerry Ealow and Josh Clark.
