Wilma Brown, 69 of Van Buren departed this life on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 in a local hospital. She was born on November 23, 1946 and was a former employee of Best Western. She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond & Dolly Heckard; and one brother James Heckard.

Graveside services will be 10AM, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Salem Cemetery Arbor in Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by her husband, Maloy Brown of the home; two sons Fred and John Heckard both of Cedarville; five sisters Mary Mongold of Natural Dam, Norma Fisher of Fort Smith; Joyce Chapman of Muldrow, OK, Rachel Foster of Van Buren, Pauline Andrews of Mulberry; three brothers Harmon Heckard of Natural Dam, Roy Heckard of Muldrow and Lesley Heckard of Dill City, OK; two grandchildren Ashley Heckard and Ethan Heckard both of Cedarville.

Pallbearers will be Timothy Andrews, Christopher Andrews, Jason Heckard, Luther Mongold, Jeremy Chapman, Justin Chapman, Jerry Chapman and Terry Harlow
