Dorothy Howard, 98, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Monday April 11, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was a homemaker and a founding member of the Central Christian Church. She was an accomplished seamstress and cook. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Albert Howard.
She is survived by two daughters, Meredith Cadelli and her husband Jim of Fort Smith and Marsha Buergler and her husband Don of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, Kellye Welch and her husband Al of Henderson, NV, Mark Buergler and his wife Eden of Fort Smith, Kathleen Golden and her husband Sean of Keller, TX, Chris Cadelli and his wife Krystal of Fort Smith, Angela Denton and her husband Blake of Little Rock, AR, Bryan Cadelli and Jamie Cadelli both of Fort Smith; eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Friday April 15, 2016 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel with burial in U.S. National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and grandsons-in-law.
The Family will visit with friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home 4500 Jenny Lind Road Fort Smith.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Central Christian Church 400 North Waldron Road, Fort Smith, Arkansas 72903 or to Methodist Nursing Home Employee Appreciation Fund, 1915 South 74th Street Fort Smith, AR 72903.
