Obituary for Manuel Robledo

Manuel Robledo, 92, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 in a local hospital. He was born on August 5, 1923 in Globe, Arizona to Manuel and Felipe (Aguilar) Robledo. He was a Construction laborer and a member of the Labor International Union of North America (LIUNA) for 50 years. He was a World War II Army veteran and served in the Rhineland and Central Europe and received two Bronze Stars and was a member of the American Legion. He was of the Catholic faith and was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Betty Robledo.
Graveside services with military honors are 1:00PM, Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his two daughters, Mary Conley of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Cindy Russell and husband David of Port Kennedy, New South Wales Australia; five grandchildren, Vincent Conley and wife Melissa of Toccoa, GA, Lesa Cooley and husband Duane of Cedarville, AR; Mike Conley of Fort Smith, AR; Missy Russell-Canham and husband Bret10 and Robert Russell both of Australia; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchildren.
