Joyce Dorsey, 83 of Fort Smith went home to be with her heavenly father Wednesday, February 3, 2016 in a local nursing home. She was retired from Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith. She loved to cook, quilt and collect recipes. She loved her family more than anything and was a wonderful mother and meme; she was a blessing to us all and she will be truly missed. She was member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her great grandchildren Cody Sanders.

Graveside service will be at 2 PM Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by three daughters, Karla James and husband, Robert of Barling, Pamela Joyce Hobbs and husband, Gary of Fort Smith, Sherry Poole of Barling; six grandchildren, Teresa, Stacia, Shaun, Gary Jr., Jamie and Tyler Neado; seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Friday, February 5, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren.
