Charles D. Mendenhall, 72, of Bonanza, Arkansas passed away on February 4, 2016 at a local hospital. He was born on June 21, 1943 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to L.R. and Ethel (Stafford) Mendenhall. He was retired from Kansas City Southern Railroad and was a Sebastian County Sheriff’s Deputy for 20 years.
Graveside services will be 10:00AM, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon of the home; two sons, Corey Mendenhall of Greenwood, AR and Chris Mendenhall of Hickory, NC; one daughter, Sherrie Green of Van Buren, AR; one brother, Don Mendenhall of Van Buren, AR and 3 grandsons.
The family will visit with friends from 6-8PM on Friday, February 5th at the funeral home.
