David Monroe Teague, 68 of Chester passed away Monday, February 1, 2016 in a local hospital. He was a retired carpenter. He was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was a graduate of Alma High School and attended University of Arkansas Fort Smith for three and half years.

Funeral service will be 2PM, Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with cremation to follow under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Rebecca of the home; two daughters Armenta Steele of Van Buren and Sarah Teague of the home; his mother Helen Teague of Fort Smith; one sister Frances Kelley of Alma; two brothers Steve Teague of West Virginia and Tim Teague of Alma; one granddaughter Cameron Steele and one grandson Justin Steele.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street in Van Buren.
