Peggy Sue Keating, 74, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 in Methodist Health and Rehab.. She was born on August 3, 1941 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Paul and Mary (Hall) Ruth. She was a former day care worker at Quality Child Care, a licensed beautician and she also enjoyed fishing, bingo and cooking for her family. Peggy was a member of Massard United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM, Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial to follow in Barling Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Buford of the home; two daughters, Teresa Yarbrough and her husband Ronnie of Van Buren, AR and Paula Tuck and her husband Dennis of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Shannon Simmons and his wife Brandie of Van Buren, AR and Shawn Adams of Fort Smith, AR; one brother, Bill Ruth of Fort Smith, AR; 8 grandchildren,12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers are Archie Wornkey, Tommy Ruth, Donnie Yarbrough, Dustin Tuck, Ronnie Wyatt and Jerry Connelly.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7 Monday at the funeral home.
