Obituary for Merrill Theo Pence

Merrill Theo Pence, 85, of Danville, Arkansas passed away in Danville. He was a retired Contract Inspector for the U. S. Government in Oklahoma City, OK, a member of Alma Church of Christ, a U. S. Army Master Sergeant during the Korean Conflict and a member of Army Combat Engineers. He was born March 21, 1930 in Danville, AR. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years, Mary Louise Pence.
Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Alma Church of Christ with interment in Gracelawn Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 until service time Tuesday at the Alma Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Deloris Pence of the home; three daughters, Jo Ann Pence Dove of Norman, Marion Louise McGehee of Seminole, Rebecca Lee Pence of Norman; two sons, Merrill Thomas Pence of Alma and David Lawrence Pence of Little Rock; three brothers, Travis Pence and Wyatt Pence both of Danville and Phillip Pence of Yukon, OK
Pallbearers will be Jason Sanders, Daniel Sanders, Greg Dove, Justin Bishop, David Pence, Bryon Lampkin, William Bishop, Stephen Grant Dove and Benny Brown.
