Obituary for Jason Don "Jake" Swaim

Jason Don "Jake"  Swaim






Jason Don "Jake" Swaim, 42, of Natural Dam, Arkansas passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 in a local hospital.He was a machinist in the refrigeration unit of Rheem Manufacturing Company in Fort Smith. He was a lifelong resident of this area, and attended the Grandview Assembly of God Church in Natural Dam.He enjoyed watching his son's play sports. He was a wonderful father, brother, husband, and a friend to all who knew him and we all loved him very much.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Grandview Assembly of God Church in Natural Dam with Reverend C.A. Eversole officiating with burial at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are his wife Debra Swaim of the home; his parents Carol and Jerry Swaim of Natural Dam; five sons, Jason Swaim, Jr, Allex Swaim, Austin Swaim, Stephen Fugate and Brian Swaim, all of the home; one sister April Vinson and husband Trin of Natural Dam; two nieces Kennedy Vinson and Kamryn Vinson of Natural Dam; four nephews Zachary Miller and Beau Miller of Natural Dam, Trustyn Vinson and Corwyn Vinson of West Fork; and one grandson Braylon Fugate of Natural Dam.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Fugate, Brian Swaim, Beau Miller, Zachary Miller, Trustyn Vinson and Corwyn Vinson.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 2::00 to 4:00 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.
