Mary Jo Nalley, 77 of Fort Smith passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 in her home. She was a nurse’s aide and attended River of Life Church in Fort Smith. She was a longtime resident of this area. She was a wonderful mother who deeply loved her entire family and was a devoted servant of God. She was preceded in death by her parents James & Ruby (Clayton) Stortz and her husband Winfred Nalley.

Funeral services will be 9:30 AM, Monday August 17, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Fort Smith U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by two daughters Diane Marine of Fort Smith and Sue Cameron of Van Buren; two sisters Lois Thomas of Van Buren and Joyce Parker of Lavaca; two brothers Nathan Morgan of Waverly, GA and Roger Morgan of Crystal City, TX.; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2-4 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
