Lamar Neill 79, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015 in a local nursing home. He was a U.S. Marine veteran , and a retired lineman for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was also a member of a hunting Club near Monticello, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by is parents, Keneth and Elsie Baker Neill.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, Arkansas under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home In Van Buren. Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Rose Neill of Van Buren, Arkansas; a daughter, Kristin Friday of Monticello, Arkansas; two step-daughters, Tammy Tumlison and husband, Jerry of Van Buren and Donna Gordy, and husband, Luke of Hot Springs, Arkansas; a granddaughter Kenzie Friday of Monticello, Arkansas; a grandson Teddy Thornton III and wife, Amber of Greenwood, Arkansas, and twin sister, Lucretia Johnston, nephew Dion Johnston and niece Janna Johnston all of Valparaiso, Florida,
