W. R. Teague, Jr., 85, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in a local hospital. He was retired from Dixie Cup and a squirrel dog trainer/trader. He was born January 24, 1930 in Mountainburg, Arkansas to the late W.R. Teague, Sr. and Kate Burkart Teague. Preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, July 31, 2015 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday evening, July 30, 2015 at the funeral home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Teague of the home; two sons, Buddy Teague of Alma and Dickie Teague and wife Suzy of Rudy; two grandsons, Nathan Teague and wife Kim of Van Buren, AR and Alex Ritchie of Greenwood; two great grandsons, Wyatt and Conner and one great granddaughter, Caroline.
Pallbearers Roy Rains, Derrick Reed, Jeff Couch, Ellis 'Slick' Brisher, Butch Moody and Mike Plum.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Plum, James Plum, Bill Douglas, Giles Osborne, Jerry and Frances Osborne and Tilsey Byram
