Obituary for Roy Harold Burkhart

Roy Harold  Burkhart
Roy H. Burkhart, 62, of Kibler passed away Saturday, July 25, in a local hospital
He retired from Mead Containers in Fort Smith after 31 years, a lifelong resident of Crawford County, a member of Kibler Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Nellie Burkhart; and a brother, Bobby Burkhart.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mt McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Burkhart of the home; a daughter Laura Caldwell and husband, C.R. of Alma; a son Chris Burkhart of Alma; two sisters Corenna Cockrum and husband, Lloyd of Van Buren and Ruby Pierce of Alma; seven brothers, Jimmy Burkhart and wife Roberta of Alma, Johnny Burkhart and wife, Anita of Van Buren, Mackie Burkhart of Rudy, Ted Burkhart and wife, Mary of Alma, Troy Burkhart and wife, Yvonne of Rudy, Billy Burkhart and David Burkhart and wife, Mary Faye of Rudy ; five grandchildren, Jaedon, Dakota, Landon, Levi and Emberlin; and numerous neices and nephews.



Pallbears will be Lloyd Wilbourn, Alvin Pavy, Roger Key, Stanley Burkhart, Gary Gene Burkhart, Larry Blevins and Bert Kenner.

Honorary pallbearers will be his brothers and sisters.

The Family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
