Obituary for Bobby Lee Smith

Bobby Lee  Smith
Bobby Lee Smith, 79, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a retired Railroad Engineer having worked for 25 + years for Frisco, Burlington, Northern and Arkansas Missouri Railroads. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, of the Baptist Faith, a 32 Degree Lifetime Mason of Mountainburg Lodge #332 and Past Patron of Clearcreek Eastern Star in Mountainburg. He was the engineer for one of the trains used in the movie Biloxi Blues. He was born June 14, 1936 in Mulberry, Arkansas to the late Joe and Mintha (Watkins) Smith.
Funeral will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with Masonic services and interment in Shores Lake Cemetery with military honors. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, July 17, 2015 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Smith of the home; one daughter, Renee Baxter of Van Buren, AR; two sons, Kenney Smith and companion Cyndi of Van Buren, AR and Robert Lee Smith and fiancé, Melissa of Van Buren, AR; two sisters, Mildred Sims of Mountainburg and Kay Sims of Mulberry, AR; two brothers, Harold Smith of Mountainburg, AR and Dale Smith of Mulberry, AR; 6 grandchildren, Jason Medlock April Skinner, Russell Baxter, Jonathan Baxter, Ranee Lewis and Kristian Gann; 5 Great grandchildren, Stella Medlock, Maiya Skinner, Noah Skinner, Joie Lewis and Bradon Gann.
Pallbearers will be Russell Baxter, Jonathan Baxter, Michael Skinner, Cole Ray Smith, Gary Wayne Smith and Jeff Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Smith, Dale Smith, Mike Sims, Sr. Michale Sims, Jr., Bill Childers, Robert Childers, Randy Johnson, Alan Hulva, John Seegers, John Rader, Leonard Mumma, Brandon Gann, Jonathan Lewis, Alan Arnold and Ed Smith.
