Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Tommy Dodd, 67, of Van Buren at 5:30 P.M. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Heritage United Methodist Church in Van Buren. Our beloved husband, father, brother, and granddad went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2015 in Augusta, Georgia following a trip to the Masters Golf Tournament with friends.

Tommy was born on August 30, 1947, in Amarillo, Texas to Buster and Marie Dodd. Tommy retired from Smith International. He played golf and, in his free time, ran a small trucking company. His passion was family, OU football and golf.

Tommy was preceded in death by his father, Buster Dodd and mother, Marie Dodd.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Dodd of Van Buren; his daughters, Ronda and husband Bruce Brown of Van Buren and Tonda Moorhouse of Midland, Texas; his grandchildren, Saferen and husband Nicholas Fonville, Tanner Moorhouse, Bryce, Graham and Caleb Brown; a great-granddaughter, Phoenix Fonville; His sister Marilyn Valliaro of Georgetown, Texas; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Honorary tributes: Roger Burkert, Alan Swaim, Doug Knierim, Carl Brown, Mike Taylor (Plumber) Wayne Gosnel and Dwight Fincher.

Memorials in Tommy’s honor are requested to be made to the Food Pantry at Heritage United Methodist Church, 1604 East Pointer Trail, Van Buren, Arkansas 72956.
