Virginia Lee Salsman, 95, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 in a local nursing home. She was retired from Jeffery Sand Company in Fort Smith. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Smith, the widow of Joe Salsman, Sr; and also preceded in death by her parents, Essie and Oscar Bohannon.

Funeral service will be 2 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Lee Ingram and husband George of Fayetteville and Shirley Ann Elliott of Van Buren; one son, Joe Wade Salsman of Van Buren; and 10 Grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Sabin Hice, Grant Elliott, Ethan Elliott, Hansen Elliott, Kyle Landers, Cole Landers, Rob Wells and Drake Fitzwater.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
