Obituary for William Ray Herring

William Ray  Herring
Ray Herring, 60, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a retired manager for Sam's Club, a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Alma, a member of the Alma Masonic Lodge #735 and owner/operator of Pink Pilky Snow to Go in Van Buren, AR. He was born May 21, 1954 in Duncan, OK to the late William Odus and Delight Ray (Olivo) Herring.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren, AR. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, May 8, 2015 at Ocker Funeral Home of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR.
Survivors include his wife Debbie Herring of the home; one son, Brandon Herring and wife, Lindsay of Alma, AR; one sister, Janie Smith of Hot Springs, AR and one brother, John Herring of Royal, AR.
Pallbearers will be Warren Seal, Jeff Peters, John Herring, Jr., Chase Ransom, Paul Brosnan and Ryan Decker. Honorary pallbearers will be District 7 Fire Dept., Crawford County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas DeMolay, Wayne Bowles, Jessie Sangster, Ron Kupers, Jimmy Rogers, Jeff Mosier and Larry Nolan.
