Patricia “Pat” B. Atchison, 75, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015 in her home. She was born on January 8, 1940 in Madison, Kansas to Glen and Ludie (Campbell) Gaston. She was a nurse’s aide and worked at Sparks Hospital, area nursing homes and also did private home care. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters. She was of the Methodist faith.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel, under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith, Arkansas.
She is survived by her husband Marvin of the home, one daughter, Stephanie Fudge and her husband David of Hartford, AR; three sons, Rick Atchison and his wife Murray of Fayetteville, AR, Brad Atchison and his wife Susan of Basalt, CO, and Brian Atchison and his wife Tracy of Chesapeake, VA; ten grandchildren, Alec, David, Brooke, Sara and Cece Atchison, Desire Heldenbrand, Johnathan Perez, Jessica Daniels and Seth and Cody Fudge; four sisters, Darlene Elliott of Wichita, KS, Karen Tally of Tulsa, OK, Gaylene Hudson of Kansas City, KS and Linda McCullough of Sullivan, MO and four brothers, Donald Gaston of Eldorado, KS, Clarence Gaston of Junction, MO, Gary Gaston of Joplin, MO and Steve Gaston of Eldorado, KS.
The family will visit with friends from 5:30-7:30 on Tuesday, April 28th at the funeral home.
