Obituary for Quinton Vero Brandon

Quinton Vero  Brandon
Quinton Vero Brandon, 82, also known by Arkansas Whittler, of Mulberry, AR left this life on Monday, April 13, 2015. He was born on May 16, 1932 in Elizabeth, AR to the late Doc Brandon and the late Ruby E. Lamberth. Quinton was retired from Whirlpool after a service of 23 years and a U. S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a very patient and honorable man who loved his family and believed a solid foundation came from serving the Lord and God's Word and was of the Pentecost Faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce L. Brandon and five siblings.
He is survived by two daughters, Yvette Brandon of Mulberry and Qujette Jones and her husband Ben Jones of Alma; two sons, Darrell Brandon, Sr. and James L. Brandon, Sr. of Mulberry; 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; three sisters, Vesta Smith and her husband Bob of Black Rock, AR, Sharon Broadway and husband Jerry of Imboden, AR and Nona Richey and husband Mac of Lynne, AR. Quinton was blessed with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Pope Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at Ocker Funeral Home, 917 Hwy. 64 East, Alma, AR. Pastor Naomi Melton and Ben Jones will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Brandon, Jr. Travis Brandon, Jeremy Medlock, Joshua Medlock, James Efurd and Jonathan Jones.
