Obituary for Johnny Marvin Robertson

Johnny Marvin Robertson
Johnny Marvin Robertson, 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Mercy Hospital. He was born on December 22, 1947 in Fort Smith, AR to Marvin and Norma Jean (Hulse) Robertson. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a body shop repairman and worked for Sharp Body Shop. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Melvin Ray Robertson and Johnny Blain Moon. Johnny was a wonderful father, a great brother, and best friend to many people in his life. He had always been a fighter, a brawler you could say. I'm sure many of his good friends came from alley fights. As a result there are many men out there that will never forget him. Alas, this world is tough and Johnny Marvin did not leave here without a good fight, sometimes a good fighter knows when to walk away. On March 22nd 2015 he walked away to be with his heavenly family, where there is no sickness, sorrow, or pain and he walked towards happiness, laughter, peace and love forever. To us, that's worth walking away for. His legacy are his beautiful children. Johnny may not have had a lot of material things in this world but, what he did have was a lot of love in his heart for his family and friends. No amount of money can buy the heart that he had. Rest in Peace you will be missed but never forgotten.
A family held memorial service will be at 10:00AM, Friday, March 27, 2015 at Living Faith Church in Arkoma, OK, with burial of cremains to be in Oak Cemetery in Fort Smith following the service.
