Chester Fay Starr, 73 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015 in a local hospital. He was retired from Ayers Furniture Factory in Fort Smith, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Sherwood & Susan (Ballard) Starr.

Funeral services will be 10AM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Fairview Cemetery with military honors under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by two sons Chester F. Starr, Jr. and his wife Danette and Timothy Starr and his wife Kalli both of Van Buren; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 5-7 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.
