Ellen Stringer, 82, of Van Buren, AR passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Rena Road Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ira and Bessie Brown.

Funeral service will be at 2 PM Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Ocker Memorial Chapel with David Banks officiating and burial at the Sarah Grove Cemetery near Cedarville under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are her husband, Lawrence Stringer of the home; two sons, Jerry Stringer of Kansas City and Larry Stringer of Van Buren; two sisters Lois Webb of Campbell, California and Dora Hodges of Van Buren; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Mitchell Brown, Joanie Stringer-Silva, Taylor Stringer, Travis Brown and Jim Burkhart.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, March 23, from 6-8 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
