Glenn Trueman  Robbins
Glenn Trueman Robbins, 88, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 in a local hospital. He was a former CEO of Metro Park, Vice President of Manley Truck Line, a 32 Degree Mason, Lifetime member of Overland Park, KS Abdullah Shrine Temple, and of the Baptist faith. He was born August 9, 1926 in Linn County, Kansas to the late Walter Ervin and Myrtle Viola (Weaver) Robbins.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment in Newberry Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends 1 hour prior to funeral services on Saturday.
Survivors include his wife, May Lou Robbins of the home; one daughter, Glenda Edwards and husband Bobby of Overland Park, Kansas; three grandchildren, Eliska Lessley and husband Frank of Mountainburg, Tiffany Heiss and husband Steve of Idaho and Kyle Bowlin and wife Laura of Blue Springs, MO; six great grandchildren, Elisa Seratt and husband Wilson of Mountainburg, Michael Dollard of Vinita, OK, Jess Dollard of Mountainburg, Clare and Rons Bowlin of Blue Springs and Madison Heiss of Idaho; two great great grandchildren, Jace and Wakely May Seratt of Mountainburg, AR.
Pallbearers will be Frank Lessley, Wilson Seratt, Michael Dollard, Jess Dollard, R. L. Robbins and Jim Holt. Honorary pallbearer will be Don Gatewood.
