Johnnie Dwayne Johnson, 68, of Barling, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in his home. He was born on November 22, 1946 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was a former assembly line worker at Whirlpool Corporation, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a member of the VFW and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife Dreama Johnson.
A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
He is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Bell and Jodi Miles both of Fort Smith, AR and Mindy Meredith of Charleston, AR; two sons, Mark Johnson of Pryor, OK and David Whitaker of Arkansas; four step daughters, Cheryl Arbour of Ontario, Canada, Cende Connally of Roland, OK, Carla Connally of Barling, AR and Carrie Hill of Roland, OK; his companion, Patsy Stanford of Barling, AR; two sisters, Mary Ann Dill of Midwest City, OK and Janice Haubrick of El Reno, OK; 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Fort Smith, Arkansas.
