Luther Edgar Belcher, 70 of Chester passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in his home. He was a carpenter for SSI Construction in Fort Smith and a lifelong resident of this area. He was preceded in death by both his parents Wesley & Lillie (Casey) Belcher.

Funeral services will be 1PM Monday, December 22, 2014 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his daughter Angela Goldman of Fort Smith; two sons Luther Edgar Belcher, Jr of Van Buren and John Belcher of Rudy; one sister Lavada Belcher of Van Buren; two brothers Johnny and Merle Belcher both of Van Buren; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Sunday, December 21, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Joe Bear Maxwell, Randy Goldman, Jr, John Wesley Belcher, Jr., Jimmy Duncan, Johnny Dwayne Belcher and Michael Belcher.
