Anita I  Fondren (Adams)
Anita I. Fondren, 55, of Mansfield, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at her home. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse for Brownwood Manor in Van Buren; member of the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield; the Outreach Committee, SPRC Committee, United Methodist Women’s Group, member of the God Squad, one of the Leaders of God’s Shining Star, known by the kids at church as the little old lady in the wheelchair or as Nana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleon and Jemmie Brown Adams; and a daughter, Jamie Lee Fondren.

Funeral service will be at 1PM Friday, December 19, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield with cremation after under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Survivors are her husband, Dwight White of the home; two daughters, Nita Hughes and Lisa Alpha of Mansfield; two sons, Buster Fondren of Lexington, OK, and Billy Fondren, JR of Purcell, OK; 16 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; a sister, Athea Adams of Alma; two brothers, Emery Adams and wife, Trish of Mountainburg, and Chris Adams of Kibler.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday December 18,, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
