Arminta B. McClure, 88, of Van Buren passed away Friday, December 12, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an adult Sunday School teacher; led Vacation Bible School; and was a past president of the Oak Grove PTA. She enjoyed gardening and helping people in the community. She was preceded in death by both parents, Jim and Cordelia Franks Schaible, step-mother, Nell West; a brother, David Cathey; three sisters, Joyce Curnutt, Fredia Woller and Eva Jo Hall

Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Oak Grove Baptist Church with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, Arkansas.

Survivors are her husband of 72 years, Ralph McClure of the home; a daughter, Nancy McClure of Van Buren; three sons, Jim C. McClure and wife, Sandra, Carroll McClure of Van Buren, and Terrill McClure and wife, Jo of Alma; One sister Jackie Lux of Little Rock, AR.; five grandchildren Michele Green, Fort Smith, Michael McClure, Troupe, Texas, Sebrina Williams, Greenwood, Minta Humble, and Ryan McClure of Van Buren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Michael McClure, Ryan McClure, Steve Green, Lance Williams, Todd Humble, and Jeremy Goforth.

Honorary pallbearers are Deacons of Oak Grove Baptist Church and the Gleaners Sunday School Class.

The family will visit with relatives and friends Monday, December 15, 2014 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home, 700 Jefferson Street, Van Buren, Arkansas.
