Thelma Louise  Cerniglia (Mendenhall)
Thelma Louise Cerniglia, 83, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Friday, December 12, 2014 in her home. She was born on November 3, 1931 in Cameron, Oklahoma to Sherman and Cora (Davis) Mendenhall. She was the last to pass away in a family of twelve and a homemaker in the true sense. She loved to cook, sew, crochet and take care of her family; she was also a reader and animal lover. She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands, Brosie Cerniglia and Joseph Cindrich. She was of the Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be 1:00PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith, with burial to follow in Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her two daughters, Ruth Karbalai and her husband Wade and Rita Cerniglia both of Fort Smith, AR; three grandchildren, Bridgette Villagran of California and Nick and Max Karbalai both of Fort Smith, AR.
Pallbearers will be Nick, Max and Wade Karbalai, Dan Johnson and Mark Mendenhall.
The family will visit with friends from 5-7PM on Monday evening.
