Melinda Jean Lowery-Turner of Van Buren peacefully entered into rest Tuesday, October 14, 2014 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was an avid adventure seeker who loved floating, traveling, and jeeping. Her positive outlook during the past year has been an inspiration to her many friends and family. She is preceded in death by her father Fonzo Lowery of Cedarville.

She is survived by her husband Toby Turner of the home; her mother and step father Reba and Bill Altstatt of Cedarville; two sisters Janet Bates and her husband Phillip of Bentonville & Tina Wall and her husband Charlie of Silver Bay, MN; one brother Rodney Lowery and his wife Jo of Frisco, TX; one niece Kelly Lowery of Frisco, TX.

Arrangements and Cremation under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas. No formal service will be held at this time.
