Obituary for Joann Lingo (Ashing)

Joann  Lingo (Ashing)
Joann Lingo, 71 of Van Buren passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a homemaker; a lifelong resident of this area. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Troy & Lillian (Trull) Ashing.

Funeral service will be at 11 am Thursday, October 16, 2014 at U.S. National Pavilion with burial at National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She was survived by her husband, Norman Lingo of 53 years; two daughters, Ronda Lingo of Van Buren, Lillian Jones of Uniontown; one son, Clyde Troy Lingo of Van Buren; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren and one special nephew, Troy Ray Ashing of Heavener, OK.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. at Ocker Funeral Home 700 Jefferson Street Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Brad Nunley, Ricky Dale Carter, Charles Henry Fondren, Jacob Lingo, Charles Fondren, Sr., and Larry Lingo.
