Ouida Stroud Smith 91, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 in a local nursing home. She was a corporate insurance clerk for Baldor Electric in Fort Smith, a member of Roland Church of Christ in Roland, OK; a longtime resident of Crawford County. She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace T. Smith.

Graveside services will be 2PM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Gracelawn Arbor in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

She is survived by two sons Dr. Philip Smith and his wife Sandy of Van Buren, Dr. Ron Smith and his wife Anita of Roland, OK; one sister Jo Ruth Hardin of Waco, TX; three grandchildren Clay Smith and his wife Ellen of Fort Smith, AR, Braxton Smith of Roland, OK, Carrie Smith Morgan and her husband Matthew of Nashville, TN; one great grandchild Riley Morgan of Nashville, TN.; several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Clay and Braxton Smith, Matthew Morgan, Blake Mashburn, Steve Williams, Jerry Vinsant & David Moore.
